New Year, New City, New Apartment!!!

I moved to Downtown St. Paul, Minnesota's state Capitol. I live in an 100 year old renovated shoe factory. I love my new loft apartment!!! It's a little bit bigger than my old apartment. I have really high ceilings with one cement pillar. One brick wall with 9 feet tall windows almost taking up the whole wall!!! I haven't gotten around to really decorating my place yet, so no great pictures.

I wanted to move here because of the art district here. This last October a month before I moved I participated in the St. Paul's Art crawl. It was a huge step for me, having a booth and a partition wall for all my art. It was a lot of work and a bit nerve wrecking but I guess I enjoyed it still!!! Lol! I want to take part of it again but maybe only once a

It will be my first time having a booth at the St. Paul Art Crawl!!! So excited. 

I will move into my apartment in Downtown/Lowertown St. Paul this November 1st. 

A whole new time of life for me. Art world here I come lets be friends everybody!

SERENITY

I feel like I am a real artist now because I finally painted on a big canvas (24x36) and it was my first nude. Im silly.

I moved my art space from my bedroom to my living room. I am already doing a lot of art now!!!!

NEW KITTEN BABIES

So this year I got two new kittens. My other cat Drake had to be put down for medical reasons, so sad and hard. My new babies are perfect and I am so grateful for them!!!!! First of all Feline Rescue Inc. in Minnesota is the best rescue organization I have ever known. I love them and the work they do.

FORGIVING YOURSELF

Bridgeview's Open House & MRAC Art Show

At this event there was a Mexican buffet, music and a chance to purchase custom greeting cards and works of art created by the talented artists of Bridgeview. Proceeds from art sold directly benefited the artists. Bridgeview is a Dropin Center for people with Serious and Persistant Mental Illness. MRAC (Metropolitan Regional Arts Council) awarded a grant to Bridgeview in 2014. The Grant Dollars funded seven guest artists, and much needed art supplies and other art projects.

The art show went well. It was very encouraging to me,  I am thankful  for the kind words and love and support and for everyone who came out! I felt like a loved excited little kid!!!!!
